Abbas Pardons Another Terrorist

Just 2 weeks ago, Abbas--Israel's Moderate Peace Partner™--released a terrorist responsible for a quadruple murder.

Now, Abbas has pardoned another terrorist outright:
The woman, Tamam Abu Saud, was part of a Hamas cell that allegedly planned to assassinate the PA governor of Nablus and attack various Fatah-affiliated institutions in the West Bank.

PA security sources said that Abbas decided to release Abu Saud after she appealed to him and asked for forgiveness.

The sources claimed that Abbas accepted her appeal although she had previously confessed to the charges against her.

“The release of the woman is a humanitarian gesture by President Mahmoud Abbas, who is the caring and passionate father of all Palestinians, including those who commit mistakes,” the sources said.
Just what we need: Abbas is not only a moderate but a humanitarian as well--who knows what other actions of his can be overlooked and excused now.

I don't suppose events in Tunisia had anything to do with Abbas's magnanimity.
I suppose we should be grateful that this is terrorist that that was after Fatah and not Israel.

Then there is this admonition from PA security sources:
The sources warned Hamas against using women and children to carry out the movement’s agenda.
Now don't get them wrong. It's not as if the PA is opposed to exploiting children to advance an anti-Israel agenda--it's just that they don't like the competition.

But Abbas is a moderate and a humanitarian, so that's OK.
